Who Was Nate Sachs?

Nate Sachs had a vision for Smile On Seniors. He and his wife, Dale, were the first donors to partner with SOS through a monthly commitment.

Nate cared deeply about people and had a special concern for seniors. He wanted every person to be able to enjoy life with dignity, friendship and a caring community. The Nate Sachs Legacy Chai Club carries that vision forward.

Joining is simple and flexible. Here are answers to some of the questions we hear most often.
Is there a minimum monthly donation?
No. We welcome gifts of every size. Choose a monthly amount that is meaningful and comfortable for you.
Can I change my monthly gift?
Absolutely. If you would like to increase or decrease your commitment, simply contact us and we can make the change for you.
How long is the commitment?
There is no required length of commitment. Your gift continues monthly until you ask us to change or stop it. We appreciate your partnership for however long it works for you.
Can I give anonymously?
Yes. If you prefer not to have your name included on our donor recognition lists, simply let us know.
Will I receive a tax receipt?
Yes. Smile On Seniors is a nonprofit 501(c)(3), and you will receive a year-end receipt reflecting your eligible charitable contributions.
When will my monthly gift be processed?
Chai Club gifts are generally processed at the beginning of each month. If you prefer another day of the month, please contact us and we will be happy to help.
