About Smile on Seniors
For more than 15 years, Smile On Seniors has brought friendship, meaningful programs, and Jewish connection to older adults and seniors throughout Greater Phoenix. Every visit, every shared meal, and every volunteer helps build a stronger, more caring community.

Smile On Seniors reaches thousands of seniors each year - both independent seniors living at home and those in senior living communities - through innovative and compassionate programming.

Today, SOS engages over 4,000 seniors annually, including those in 54 senior living communities, supported by 175 dedicated volunteers. Our programs consistently foster connection, purpose,
and joy, while our growing Active Mature Adults program continues to expand our reach through social, fitness, and educational opportunities.

To Whom
To whom does a Jew pray? Can He be described? Does He have a name? No, there is no description with which to imagine Him, no name with which to grasp Him. Even the pronoun “Him” implies too much to be true—as though He could be a third party, absent or present. Even the title “Infinite Light” misses the mark, as though He were only light. But He is not light. He is the source of light. At the source of all light, there is no absence or presence, no being or not being. There is only “You.” Here, now, known to all beings. And yet beyond the grasp of any...
