ABOUT SMILE ON SENIORS

The Smile on Seniors Program aims to bring exclusive programming geared to our large Senior Community. It provides monthly events that promote social interaction and features exciting activities for Seniors.

Additionally, Smile on Seniors offers volunteers who visit with home-bound or lonely Seniors at their homes, in assisted living facilities as well as at the hospital. Their mission is to bring joy and stimulation to the visitees. Our hope is to ultimately match up every Senior in need with a volunteer.

Smile On Seniors is dedicated to providing, an open door environment for strengthening and enhancing Jewish values and identity to all people, regardless of background, color, philosophy or level of commitment. Smile On Seniors has programs for everyone.

Aging in place is what all seniors would like. Through SOS, Jewish Seniors can now socialize as well as have some spiritual fulfillment amongst their peers. Our programs foster a community amongst Seniors. It brings comfort and joy, support and community, to a silent but significant demographic in our midst. Through a wide array of services and programs, SOS is changing the quality of life experienced by hundreds of seniors, their family members and the volunteers who reach out to them.

VOLUNTEERS

Our volunteer corp consists of all walks of life and professions. We are very proud of our vibrant and ever growing community of volunteers.

We think, when people look at the greater Jewish Community and see all the great things being done for Seniors it fosters a greater sense of community in general, not just for Seniors. This is definitely the true feeling amongst our volunteers, and the children of the seniors.
